We always have an Easter tree in the shop in the run up to the bank holiday weekend. Easter is a favourite time of year, filled with colour, chocolate and none of the pressure that goes with Christmas. It also coincides with hedge cutting which means you can easily pick up a twig of hazel when you’re out and about in the countryside. We’ve tried spraying the hazel and adding clip on birds and egg decorations. Pop to your local diy shop and buy some craft spray paint. Take your twig outside where you won’t risk breathing in the fumes and cover the wood. Allow the branches to dry and pop in a vase.
